Section Committee Openings
Section Historian
Every year, at the AACEI Annual Meeting, there is
recognition given to those Sections that run
full-year programs and have a healthy core of
members. The recognition comes about by turning in
an annual notebook that documents what the Section
has accomplished during the year. The primary duty
of the Section Historian is to collect the meeting
notices, attendance lists from monthly meetings,
handouts from meetings, technical presentations,
news releases, photos, May Seminar flyer, etc. The
person need not be at all of these events - we just
need someone to archive them into a 3-ring notebook.
It is not a difficult task, it just takes a little
collecting and follow-through to have members send
you the appropriate material and assemble them in an
organized manner. Anyone interested in supporting
the Section through a little volunteer effort should
contact a Section Officer for additional
information.
